Things I remember from my childhood...

  • The "there is no 'p' in our 'ool' " sign.
  • tee-ball.
  • swimming patches for the swimming pool.
  • Smurfs.
  • Silly Puddy.
  • Powdered milk.
  • Pogo-balls.
  • Our weatherman lived next door.
  • Neighborhood trinket store behind our house.
  • My first day riding a 2 wheeled bike alone/same day I got my first stitches... Coincedence? I think...
  • Marrying the neighbor-girl.
  • Liloc bush that was our fort.
  • Legos.
  • Kenickling.
  • Investigating the spookiest house on the block with my sis and her friends, we swore it was haunted.
  • GI-Joe (I wasn't allowed, cause they were "war toys").
  • Garbage Pail Kids.
  • Food stamps.
  • Digging tunnels for my Stompers cars in the embankment infront of our apt.
  • Denny the Dinosaur in Rapid City, SD.
  • Dad's wood shop in my old bedroom.
  • Crappy cars.
  • Converse sneekers.
  • Cheap candy from the bottom of the candy isle shelves.
  • Canned... Everything.
  • Big Bird, he was huge.
  • A slice of bread for a snack
  • 4-square.
